LLL - Seasoned Saints
LLL stands for Living Long and Loving It. Our Senior Saints ministry provides a great opportunity for seniors to get together and have a great time. You might retire from work, but you can never retire from God's work. We have a great Sunday Bible Class where the Bible is taught and great hymns and songs are sung. Also, LLL meets the 3rd Tuesday of the each month for a lunch with a different menu each time along with the dishes that others bring. LLL trips to museums, foliage tours and times of fellowship are part of this enjoyable group of folks.
Lifebuilders - Adult Department
Lifebuilders is designed to help people live in a way that honors the Lord. We have a Sunday Bible Class where you will be challenged to give yourself wholly to the Lord, and apply the Bible to our modern world. We enjoy family activities, outings, couples' retreats, men's advances, and ladies retreats, game nights, meals, skating, bowling, etc.
Energizers - Young Adults
Energizers is an effort as a young couple works with young singles ages 18-28. There is a Sunday Bible Class at 9:45 am, meals, sports, various "BLITZ" activities, and a real excitement about this class. It is a real place to grow as a Christian and meet other young Christian singles. You will truly be energized to live the life that God intends for you.
TIA - Youth Department
TIA stands for Teens in Action. Our youth ministry is geared to help young people develop the life skills that it takes to live a victorious Christian life. We do not intend to take the place of the parents in the lives of the teenagers, but rather to simply do all we can to aid them in raising godly teenagers, meet for the master's use. We have great Sunday Bible Classes where truths from God's Word are taught. Monthly amazing activities, monthly SNAC Nights (Sunday Night After Church), weekly Friday game nights, camps, youth retreats and other things planned to help teenagers stay busy and join themselves together for Christian fun.
Teens for Christ Bible Club
Teens for Christ Bible Club is our ministry in the local public schools. We are in the middle School on Wednesday mornings and the High School on Thurday mornings. We enter the public school weekly and hold an interactive Bible study. We have exciting devotionals, fun games, and delicious refreshments. Our goal in Teens for Christ Bible Study is to challenge those who attend to live for Christ in the enviroment of a public school. We meet teens where they are and attempt to move them forward for God.
TPA - Teen Preachers Association
The TPA is designed to aid teenagers whoare surrendered to God to preach His Word. The direction from God to preach is a serious call; and a direction to preach is also a call to prepare. A person must be willing to follow God in each aspect of life, so God can use them for His purposes. We meet monthly on Sunday afternoons, and instruction is given about being a man of God and preaching. The emphasis given is being what God called us to be and then we can do what God wants us to do. We want to help equip teen preachers in the call God has given to them.
Deaf Ministry
We have people who will interpret the services for any with a hearing impairment.
Ladies at Calvary Encourage (LACE - Ladies Group)
We have a wonderful ladies minitry where you can get out once a month and come to a great time of food, fun and fellowship, here at the church. You will enjoy great Christian fellowship with other ladies who are going through similiar things as you. Ladies Night Out provides a great opportunity for you to be challenged from God's Word. You will love it. Also, a Monthly LACE Newsletter is produced with articles, encouragements, news, games, etc. and it is given to all Calvary ladies.
Choir
We have an enjoyable choir that sings every Sunday morning. Vibrant and worshipful songs are sung to the Lord and enjoyed by the congregation. The Choir does special cantatas and musicals for Easter, Christmas and other times. We enjoy specials sung by individuals, duets-quartets, and groups in each service. We also have beautiful instrumental arrangements done for each of the services.
Mission Revival
We have an annual Missions Revival, where we invite Missionaries and Mission Speakers to come and challenge our Church family to be heart deep involved with mission endeavors. We encourage everyone in our Church to be involved with Faith Promise Missions Giving. During the revival Services we have a an International Missions Banquet where we decorate tables with foreign attire themes and enjoy cuisine from all around of the world. We also include missions panels, videos, overall themes to help our minds focus on the Great Commission.
Childrens Ministries
Our Childrens ministry focuses on the spiritual needs of Children. We have Vacation Bible School, and Camp for the children.
Nursery
Our devoted nursery workers strive to provide a fun and useful nursery experience in a safe, clean, and healthy surrounding for newborns until 3 years of age. Parents, you can feel sure that your children will be well taken care of, while you are involved in the Lifestages Sunday Bible Classes or any church services or event. Our Welcome Center Host, Ushers and Welcomers will happily direct you to the nursery located in the foyer outside the main auditorium.
Bus Ministry
We believe it is vital to be constantly reaching people with the Gospel. We have a means of transportation for those who have no other way to come to Church. We reach out to everyone from children to seniors. The Lord said to go into the highways and the hedges and compel people to come to Him, and that is our goal here at Calvary.
KIDZ Church
KIDZ Church is designed for 1st to 6th grade. We have this ministry every Sunday morning where we have fun games, exciting songs, and Biblical preaching from God's Word.
TYKZ Church
TYKZ Church is designed for children 3-5 year olds. This service meets each Sunday morning with games, songs, crafts, and a Bible lesson.
Calvary's KIDZ
Calvary's Kidz gives children an opportunity to learn more about the Bible and serving the Lord. Every Sunday afternoon from 4:45pm-5:45pm, they have great lessons, games and songs. Also, they make up a KIDZ choir that sings in the Sunday evening services occasionally and prepare and perform a Christmas Play including songs, storyline, costumes and props.
It is our desire that our church will constantly strive to minister to the real needs of people.
